I opened Trillium's Treasures on Etsy in September 2011. At Trillium's Treasures I sell handmade purses and accessories that are modeled after designs I created for myself. I have been sewing for many years, and it has always been in the back of my mind to make extra products that other people can use and enjoy. Despite very limited free time, I began slowly getting started in the beginning of 2011 and I posted my first products on Etsy in September of 2011.
About Me
I am a full time engineer and a busy mom. My daughter was born in April 2009 and I am pregnant with another girl who we are expecting in March. I also have a husband, two beagles, and an ornery cat. I do my best to keep everyone in line - but it's a full load. I love sewing, reading and the outdoors.
About My Blog
I don't talk about my work, not because it is classified, but because most people find it very boring. I would like to talk mostly about my sewing and sewing projects, but since I am unlikely to have time to work on more than a project or two a month, I will talk about other things as well. Some possible topics would relate to being a busy mom, interesting stuff I read, or anything else that is interesting to me. I will also highlight any new products I have on my Etsy site, and you will be the first to know of anything exciting going on.
